Fast Facts:

The Legislature Building was built from 1907 to 1912 on a site near the old Fort Edmonton.

On May 24, 2005, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II toured the Legislature grounds and addressed Albertans from the throne in the Alberta Legislature.
