We continue to follow the recommendations of Alberta's chief medical officer of health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, as we take steps to open access. The Legislative Assembly started welcoming visitors back to the Legislature Building and Visitor Centre on Saturday, August 1, 2020.
Please review and follow these enhanced safety precautions as the health and safety of our Members, staff and visitors remains the Legislative Assembly's top priority. Visitors should take the Alberta Health Services COVID self-assessment tool prior to planning a visit and stay home if they are not feeling well.

Our friendly and knowledgeable Heritage Interpreters are always pleased to welcome you to the building and introduce you to Alberta's legislative process. Our tours accommodate visitors of all ages, and generally cover topics related to the levels of government; the roles of the Lieutenant Governor, Premier, Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly; Alberta's political history; the Daily Routine of the Legislative Assembly; parliamentary tradition; and the art and architecture of the building. Tours run approximately 30 minutes.
*We offer tours in English or French. French language tours are subject to the availability of French-speaking guides at the time requested.
The Building is wheelchair accessible, including
the public gallery in the Chamber.

Legislature Building
To join your reserved tour, proceed to the west entrance of the Legislature Building. Wheelchair access is also available through this entrance.
